I wasn't able to follow up Sunday's night success. Monday night I was down two buy-ins.

The result was a combination of bad play and bad luck. First I lost a massive pot when I had K7s unimproved and tried to bluff a big stack off what I think is a big pair on a J-high board, but he got all-in before I could. I also got really bad-beat twice. Once I called an EP min. raise with AQs on button, flop was AQJ, and we got all-in on the flop with him and a MP being aggressors. He had QJ and rivered a J on me. Does pokerstars punish passive play? Maybe. The other bad beat I went all-in preflop with AA against a 8BB shortie with AK and a 30BB shortie with 42 who called the 1st reraise from AK!? The board was K6474. I was fucked.

Now my bankroll is down to 588, which isn't pretty but isn't too discouraging either. I'm ready to resume my surge soon.
